Yet more Shay sketches, wheee!

I like the idea of the second sketch, but once again I'm hitting the issue of her fins covering up pretty much all the details with any rear shot.  This one has promise - have the fins swept round to one side as she turns, or pushed by wind/currents.  First has a bit of promise, but that hat really needs to be settled properly on her head, it's painful how tacked on it looks XD  Third and fourth were throwaway ideas, and everything after that was a bit more exploration of fin and 'ear' interaction.

Got a bit more of an incentive to get better at art now - dropping down to a four-on, four-off schedule at work.  Lots more free time, but also a night less pay, and occasionally a three night week.  So of course, as with any artist, I'm having delusions of making money off my art.  XD  Gotta get a looot better before that's even close to a realistic option though, and actually get a gallery of decent art...  And more folk interested enough to +watch me...

I could get a second part time job, but where's the FUN in that?
